I bought this about 3 weeks ago. So far it seems to run well, fairly quiet. I had forgotten that it is kind of inconvenient to have the freezer on top. Easier to look in a fridge that has the freezer on bottom. Stainless is difficult to keep fingerprints off of. I would have ordered white except I was able to get the fridge 2 weeks earlier by getting the in stock stainless. Like the look of stainless but finger prints and smudges look messy. Freezer door was not level but it did adjust as the book instructed. Hopefully it stays level because the way it is corrected probably can't be done too many times. I do like Whirlpool products, I have a stove, washer, dryer and dishwasher that I have had no problems with & like the quality and performance. Above stove micro had some issues before the repairman found the problem and replaced the right part. This seems to be a good basic fridge for our extra cold storage.

We bought this fridge because it fit the small space in our older home. We like the fact that it is very simple with no busy-ness to the exterior. I have no problem getting ice or water from the inside of my fridge. A lot of the bells and whistles are the things that break down over time. We did purchase the extended warranty from Best Buy because fridge reviews are all over the map when you read them. The guys who delivered it were excellent and I would certainly go to BB again for a purchase of this size.

Only had it a month, very good value, I bought this refrigerator from Costco to replace one that was almost identical to it. Previous one lasted 14 years, if I get that much out of this one it will be money well spent. I thought it was going to be white with stainless steel inside, arrived grey with stainless inside. Basic model, I do like the sliding dairy drawer but wish it was larger, the produce drawers slide nicely, I wish the freezer had an adjustable shelf. See picture

We bought this about 4 weeks ago. Good sized refrigerator compartment, but we noticed the rear bottom shelf was very cold compared to the rest of the refrigerator and our eggs froze up! We had to move them to the front. The freezer compartment door storage area is quite narrow and you can only store a small quantity of items there. Our biggest complaint with the product is that there is no light in the freezer. For a premium product, Whirlpool cheaped out on this item!

Bought this refrigerator 2 1/2 years ago for a vacation home. Checked on the house in March 2019 and found that soda cans had literally exploded in the refrigerator due to freezing. A case of beer was also frozen as well as other items. We had both the refrigerator and the freezer set to "recommended' settings. We noticed items on the left side of the refrigerator froze.
I contacted Whirlpool customer service. They told that due to the age (remembr only 2 1/2 years old), there was nothing they could do. They warrant it for one year. I guess if you don't buy an extended warranty, you're stuck. But you ewould yhink that Whirlpool would stand behind their appliances for more than one year. I have a Hotpoint refrigerator that's 36 years old and still going strong.
I contact a repirman that we have used in the past. Based on my description of th problem, he thinks it's the controller. He priced the part from his distributor and it costs $226. That's about 40% of the proce we paid. We got it on a great sale from Best Buy.
We have a Whirlpool washer and a dryer and we're happy with them. But this episode really soured me on whirlpool.

I bought this refrigerator two months ago, from Costco.com. I got a great deal (during their President's Day sale); and, I got an extended two-year warranty --provided by Costco on Whirlpool appliances.
Although this refrigerator is a little bit smaller than the average refrigerator, it works great, and it provides me with all of the storage capacity I need.
The only thing is... I wish that there was a light inside the freezer compartment (like the light that is in the refrigerator compartment).
In any case, Whirlpool is a great brand -- providing good quality and reliable appliances, at reasonable prices.
I am pleased with my purchase, and I recommend this refrigerator.

I bought this a month ago and I couldn't be happier with it. I got this during the President's Day sales so it's a fantastic bonus on top of that. Therefore, I decided to upgrade it Monochromatic Stainless Steel to match with my stainless steel appliances in the kitchen. The unit powers up smoothly and quietly. It has an added feature for making ice but I haven't purchased the add-on yet. Overall, very satisfy with the unit so far. Home Depot free delivery was extremely convenient. Great product and keep up the good work!

I would suggest 2 improvements: first and foremost would be to have a light in the freezer. I literally have to use a flashlight to locate items. Second would be to have extra shelves in the freezer. I ended up buying some from a 3rd party.

This fridge worked for us for the first couple of weeks, and was working just fine. However, about 2 weeks ago, the fridge started tripping our breaker again and again. We tried multiple times until we gave up and started relying on the other fridge we have in the house. So right now, there is no way for us to use this fridge. We don't know what to do because the breaker was not tripping until we started using this fridge. And now that we have turned off the fridge, the breaker does not trip any more. Since we did not buy the warranty from Best Buy, I will most likely have to pay an electrician $100+ just to come and take a look and tell me that this is happening because of the fridge (which I already know). On a fridge that cost about $500, making such an investment is ridiculous because it will still not fix the problem. So I don't know where to go or what to do. This fridge is useless for us and it is just occupying space.

I bought 19 cu ft WRT519SZDW model refrigerator a month ago and used the coldest temperature setting, largest, darkest snowflake . When checking the temperature has never been colder than 39 degrees. This is not cold enough. What are the other 3 settings 45, 50, 55 degrees? My previous refrigerator was 34 degrees on the coldest setting. I had an appointment with a technician. First he did not understand the settings. He thought the smallest, light colored snowflake meant coldest. He needed to call Tech Support to ask. The reason for the appointment was that the temperature wasn't cold enough but he didn't have a thermometer and had to go back to his truck.. He then wanted to put the thermometer into one of my foods. I told him "no". He then placed the thermometer on the bottom of a milk carton pressed on the glass shelf and told me it reads 37 degrees. I told him that it's not an accurate reading of how food is stored, he needs to check the air temperature. He wouldn't measure the air temperature or allow me to use my thermometer. He told me that I can have another technician come. He didn't fix the crisper drawer that didn't have the plastic film to show humidity level. When I called Customer Service I was told that he is the only warranty technician in my area. Please advise

1. There needs to be a light in the freezer.
2. The light in the refrigerator is lacking in brightness.

I got this a month ago to put in my basement wet bar, it is the smaller size but the installation of the ice maker made it a perfect fit for the space and the need. We did have to reverse the doors, in doing so the light trigger gets caught on the shelving, but not a huge deal, we just moved the shelve.

The only plus is it keeps everything cold and frozen. Just make sure everything in the freezer is not to close to the back or it runs more than it usually does. Can't use the door racks or the door hangs uneven, and the freezer door racks too narrow and large space so things fall right through.
It runs a lot and makes a lot of loud weird sounds and just keeps on going and going. Also noticed the stainless is very grey compared to most other stainless. Have to be careful when reaching in you don't bang your head on the freezer door. Not thrilled with this purchase but highly recommend Whirlpool washer and dryers.

The salesman, George was so helpful and knowledgable that it made it super easy for me to pick the fridge that fits my needs. It runs silently and keep the frozen things frozen and the cold things cold. LOVE IT!

I purchased this item a little over a month ago. The top freezer is large, which I like. I, especially, love the layout of the interior. I think a lot of thought went into this. This is not a large refrigerator, but, the organization is great and well laid out. I love the door area as well. There is a place for a large container of milk of juice. Well, I love this refrigerator.

Two service calls in first 5 months. Month 2 ice maker leaking and not freezing, month 5 has stopped cooling all together. Service thinks it needs new motherboard. Experienced same "either too warm or cold" situation as others describe. Whirlpool should be ashamed of this unit. We have this in a very small office and it gets very little use. But since it is in a "commercial setting" Whirlpool warranty is voided.
